Begin with your consultation.

You can get started with the loan process by calling (919) 238-4934 to schedule your consultation.

We will ask you questions during the consultation to understand your needs and goals. We will also patiently answer your questions about the mortgage process and the different types of lending products.

Choose what type of mortgage to apply for.

Next, you will need to decide what type of home loan you want to apply for. The Martini Mortgage Group can recommend loan options based on your current financial profile and what you want to achieve in the future.

Receive pre-approval.

We pre-approve you for a loan next. Once we do, you will know how much home you can afford, and you can approach sellers with enhanced bargaining power.

Submit your application.

Fill out and submit your loan application, providing supporting documentation to help us verify your income and employment.

If you are self-employed and do not have a W-2, you can use our bank statement loan process instead of the traditional loan application process.

We handle appraisal and underwriting.

During the next step in the process, you can concentrate on your search for a home while we do the appraisal and underwriting. If we need you to provide more documentation, we will notify you.

We issue conditional approval.

One of the most exciting steps in the process is this one, when you receive a loan commitment with conditional approval. The best part is you are so close to final approval!

Pending documents are submitted.

If you have not yet met all conditions for final loan approval, we will need you to do so at this stage. We also might ask for more documents.

Receive final approval.

After the final underwriting review takes place, the underwriter can give you final approval.

The moment has arrived—you are ready to close and get the keys to your new home!
