It is undisputed that Raleigh home loan rates were less expensive during the beginning of the year and now they are more expensive and the experts believe that by the end of the year home loan rates will be even higher. Now even with the move in mortgage rates year-to-date and the projected increase they will still be in record historic low territory. According to CoreLogic, year-over-year home values in the U.S. rose 7%. For the same period, North Carolina home values increased 4.7%. This means, if the right thing for you and your family is to purchase a home this year, buying sooner rather than later could lead to substantial savings.
